There are many different free math resources being added to the World Wide Web every day. An article in the freetech4teachers by blogger Richard Byrne highlights the math treasure trove NPR Math Guy Archives.
In contrast to many of the cool math gadgets like this Web 2.0 scientific calculator, powerful sites like http://www.wolframalpha.com/, and free programs like http://www.tenmarks.com/, tools like the Math Guy Archives help students and teachers get the background they need to speak the language of the math world.
